Philanthropy Committee | 2020
Just as internal engagement is the cornerstone of brotherhood, so is external engagement. Zeta Psi often gives back to the university and larger community through philanthropic activities, such as Illini Lights Out, an event where brothers save electricity by turning off lights in campus buildings. Another favorite is Books to Prisoners where brothers carry and organize books to be sent to current inmates. Our largest philanthropic endeavor is an upcoming trivia event that benefits One Love Foundation, an organization fighting domestic abuse. Zeta Psi feels deeply that this organization aligns with our values of healthy relationships and encouraging all types of love. Our chapter strives to host one major philanthropy event per semester, and join one smaller activity monthly.
